My name is Audrey Ignatoff, and I am an advocate for the disabled and elderly, and am involved with pro-life issues.
In this capacity, I have provided seminars to health care professionals, patients, and consumers on a variety of health care topics for over twenty years. My area of special interest in preventing medication problems in the elderly. I have also written extensively on these topics including many articles and a book on the Terri Schiavo Case.
I am excited that the training manual for professionals on preventing drug misuse in the elderly is now available, and the companion manual for seniors will be available shortly.
A download is available for a video created for NIDA entitled, Wise Use of Drugs. It is no longer available from NIDA, but you can get it here! The information is valuable to seniors and those working with seniors and involved with training. With all of these materials available to you, you can create programs on Preventing Medication Problems for Seniors for your organization.
